Monifieth Parish Church Building

The new church building is now open on 41 High Street Monifieth.

New Church Building:

Celebration and Welcome/Outreach/ Administration.

To mark the continuity of Christian worship in Monifieth, on Sunday 8th September the congregation met in the St Rule's Building at 10.00 am. A short act of worship preceded a walk to the New Building, where a Service of Dedication was conducted by the Rev. Fiona Reynolds and the Right Rev. Colin Sinclair, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, preached.  A buffet lunch and refreshments was then enjoyed by all present.

An Evening Service gave members and friends a further opportunity to worship in our New Church Building.

To fulfil our commitment to being a community facility in our new building we need volunteers on-site on weekdays to welcome and show round user groups and visitors and to prepare the premises for different groups - ideally 2 volunteers on at a time for regular weekly 3 hours slots: 9-12, 12-3, 3-6. We realise this is a lot to ask but hope this will be an interim arrangement until permanent arrangements can be made. If you are interested, please contact Jane McArtney (532886) as soon as possible. Training will be provided. Please help if you can.
